Well done, you solved puzzle #2! The prunus sieboldii (a flowering cherry species) you found in the nonogram is just one of 13 plants named after Siebold. Because he was the only Westerner allowed into Japan at that time, he was the first to record many native species using Western scientific methods. That is why he could give them his own name.
